2009 marks the 50th year of operations for Tonkin & Taylor!
The company has certainly come a long way since two engineers, working at different ends of the Auckland Harbour Bridge in 1959, decided to combine their expertise, experience and entrepreneurial skills to form Tonkin & Taylor.

T&T is now regarded as a leading environmental and engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for technical excellence in the Geotechnical, Civil, Environmental and Water Resource disciplines.
T&T continues to preserve much of the original vision to promote the company as a New Zealand owned and operated, specialist team of employees providing high quality consultancy services. Over time this philosophy has built a strong Tonkin & Taylor brand within the marketplace, not only in New Zealand but also throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
