Christchurch Central City Geological Interpretative Report

As part of its draft Central City Plan, Christchurch City Council commissioned Tonkin & Taylor to undertake ground investigations within the city's Central Business District (CBD) to determine suitability for rebuilding. The report found that “no areas within the CBD or adjacent commercial areas were identified as having ground conditions that would preclude rebuilding on those sites”.
