Team effort wins Tonkin & Taylor Group major hydro-electric project in the Philippines!

The Engineering & Development Corporation of the Philippines (EDCOP) and Tonkin & Taylor International (T&TI), both part of the Tonkin & Taylor Group of Companies, were recently successful in winning the Project Management consultancy role for the construction of Sibulan Hydro-electric Project in the Philippines!

Kate Valley Landfill wins prestigious engineering award!

Kate Valley, Canterbury's regional landfill, recently won a prestigious engineering award!
The landfill, which Tonkin & Taylor designed, has been declared the 2006 New Zealand Engineering Excellence Award winner in the category of 'Infrastructure, Utilities and Networks'.

Wai-iti Valley Community Dam officially opens!

Designed to capture and store up to 800,000 cubic metres of water from catchment run-off, the Wai-iti Dam was officially opened on Thursday 5 October.  Tonkin & Taylor has been involved with the project since 2000, initially exploring options for water storage and then, in 2004, undertaking detailed design and construction observation.

Seaside Park – an amazing transformation!
Seaside Park is an amazing, four-year transformation of a contaminated landfill into a wildlife haven in Otahuhu, south of Auckland, which has really given residents something to smile about!  Although the area has always been known as Seaside Park, now it really lives up to expectations befitting of its name!
