Tonkin & Taylor takes on Taupo!

On 29 November 84 T&T staff throughout New Zealand took on the ‘Wattyl Cycle Challenge’ around Lake Taupo.  The cycle challenge began in 1977 and is not only New Zealand’s most popular sporting event, but also the largest cycle ride in the southern hemisphere.  Over 10,000 competitors take part every year in this 160 km cycle around the lake.

Another Top Award for T&T Konsult!

T&T Konsult (T&TK), part of the Tonkin & Taylor Group of Companies, was recently presented with a third award for the Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill project in Kuala Lumpur. The ASEAN Distinguished Engineering Award was bestowed on T&TK by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering for outstanding engineering skills.

A Tribute to Kevin Butler

As everyone at Tonkin & Taylor knows, our colleague and friend Kevin Butler passed away on 21 December following a year-long fight with lung cancer.  Right to the very end and lovingly supported by his partner Lee, Kevin was positive and intent on facing this new challenge.  His spirit remained strong, but eventually his body lost the battle against this cruel disease.
