T&T offered Foundation Membership status in Oxfam New Zealand’s Water for Survival Programme

Tonkin & Taylor is pleased to announce their decision to join Oxfam New Zealand’s Water for Survival Programme as a Foundation Member.  By becoming Foundation Members and providing support to the Water for Survival programme, T&T will directly help bring life saving, clean drinking water to some of the world’s poorest communities within the Pacific and South East Asia.

T&T are the major sponsors of Oxfam New Zealand's Nihotupu Tramline Walk and have, more recently, joined Oxfam's Water for Survival Programme as Foundation Members.

Mr Peter Millar, T&T’s Managing Director, commented that Foundation Membership status was a natural extension to the company’s already existing relationship with them.

“We’re already involved in Oxfam New Zealand’s Fairtrade coffee Programme as well as being major sponsors of the Nihotupu Tramline Walk held each year in West Auckland.  This latest initiative is another way T&T can give something back to the wider community and is a good fit for the many water projects our staff are involved in”, said Mr Millar.
