Grant is a Principal and Manager of the Christchurch office of Tonkin & Taylor and has a proven record in project coordination, quality assurance, management and leading multidiscipline teams on projects for scoping and feasibility studies as well as, design and construction projects. Grant has over 16 years professional experience in civil engineering design and construction, primarily related to various aspects of water resource infrastructure.
Grant was T&T’s Project manager for investigation, design and construction monitoring of Lake Hood (NZ $5.5 M), a 70 ha recreational lake located near Ashburton. He has been a team member on the following studies; Ashburton Irrigation Dam, RDR and CM Croft intake studies, Opuha annual inspections. Grant is currently the Team Leader for the Stage 1 of the Hurunui Community Water Development Project pre-feasibility study.
