Jenny is a chemical engineer with a background in fertiliser and specialty chemicals manufacturing. She specialises in air quality management, including assessments of discharges to air from industrial and commercial activities, odour and landfill gas assessments at landfills, air quality effects of transport, atmospheric dispersion modelling, air pollution control and air quality monitoring programmes.

Jenny also has extensive experience with management of hazardous substances and hazardous waste and is a listed ERMA Hazardous Substances Adviser. She provides advice to a number of companies on compliance with the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms legislation.

Jenny holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical and Materials) and post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Management. Recent projects that she has provided air quality specialist advice to include consenting of the Redvale and Whitford Landfills in Auckland, remediation of the Fruitgrowers Chemical Company site at Mapua, Nelson and the proposed Southern Link Road in Nelson. Jenny has also contributed to the development of a number of technical guideline documents published by the Ministry for the Environment on aspects of air quality management. As an expert witness she is regularly called upon at both council hearings and the Environment Court.
