John has extensive experience on hydro electric projects which involve multi-disciplinary management and which feature innovative approaches.
He has 28 years experience in hydro-electric engineering, dam engineering particularly dam safety management and water related projects. John has written 13 papers.
A Chartered Professional Engineer in both New Zealand and Australia, John is also a member of the New Zealand Society on Large Dams Executive Committee. He has played a key role in management and technical input for large hydro-electric projects such as Project Aqua, Opuha hydro-electric and irrigation dam and Hawea Hydro-electric Development in New Zealand and U/v Ai Hydroelectric Project in Malaysia and Komarindi Hydro Project in the Solomon Islands.
John manages the Water Resources Group and is a Director of T&T.
